ABOUT PALISADES PARKS CONSERVANCY
The Palisades Parks Conservancy was formed in 2001 to support the parks and historic sites of the Palisades Interstate Park (PIP) system. Its mission is to protect and support the 125,000 acres of parklands and historic sites, and to promote and expand the preservation of natural, historical, and cultural resources in the Park for the benefit of the public.
Since its founding, the Conservancy has raised millions of dollars in support of the PIP’s 28 parks and historic sites. That work includes the creation of new trails, restoration of historic building and facilities, providing educational programming, and more.
